PRIVATE RESIDENCE IN NEW YORK
Astute has taken a holistic approach to design the interior of this three-bedroom, 3,500 square feet residence located within the 145 luxury units of the 53 West 53 tower by Pritzker Prize-winning Parisian architect Jean Nouvel.
As you step into the space, the magnificent floor-to-ceiling windows immediately capture your attention, providing stunning panoramic views of the city. The natural light that pours in highlights the carefully selected textures and materials that complement the building's art deco ethos. The design features luxurious elements such as lacquered walnut, bleached oak, onyx, marble, aged brass and dark bronze accents, along with leather and suede, all of which coexist seamlessly with the tower's modern details.
The use of a neutral color palette creates a serene environment, allowing the occasional pops of bold colors in the artwork and accessories to add interest and visual appeal. This design approach also provides the flexibility for the pops of color to be changed over time, allowing the space to evolve with its owners.
